Client Summary

Our client is a leading postal logistics company specialising in efficient freight handling and delivery services. They are currently recruiting for a dual role as a Freight Handler & Forklift Operator, where the Forklift operating will only be required as needed.

About the role

As a High Freight Handler/Forklift operator, you will be responsible for the following:

• Unloading and loading trucks, trailers, and containers
• Operating a Counterbalance forklift occasionally
• Working in a timely manner to meet operational demands
• Using RF scanning devices for inventory management
• Operating manual pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Lifting products up to 30kg
• Having a high level of attention to detail when reading labels.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

To be Successful, You Will Possess the Following:

• Be willing to participate in the Physical & Drug assessment located in Sunshine West
• Experience in the logistics or postal industry (desired)
• Physically fit, able to lift up-to 30kg whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to PPE requirements
• Must successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol test
• Must pass an in-house Medical Assessment
• Current police clearance (from within the past 3 months)
• Full rights to work in Australia
