BETTER is a progressive, evidence-based health and performance centre in Sydney, specialising in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injuries, and performance enhancement. Our team includes Physiotherapists, Exercise physiologists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapist and Podiatrists who work collaboratively in a high-functioning, multidisciplinary model of care.

We are currently seeking a dedicated, MSK-focused Podiatrist to join our growing team. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art testing and rehabilitation equipment and work closely alongside other professionals to deliver integrated care plans for a highly active and varied caseload.

About BETTER

Our 600sqm facility is purpose-built for sport, rehabilitation and recovery, incorporating:

Strength/Conditioning Area – Rogue Powerlifting Racks, Kabuki Strength Bars, Lifetime Fitness Equipment

Performance/Functional Training – Keiser Machines, synthetic turf track, sleds, cardio suite

Reformer Pilates Zone – For core activation, flexibility, and movement retraining

VALD Performance Testing Technology – For gait, strength and load analysis

Private Treatment Rooms – For one-on-one clinical sessions

About the Role – Podiatrist

We are seeking an energetic and motivated podiatrist who thrives in a team environment and wants to challenge what being a podiatrist is. We are looking for someone who can also prescribe exercise and has a strong interest in:

Musculoskeletal podiatry and biomechanics

Sports injury prevention and rehabilitation

Orthotic prescription and optimisation

General podiatric care, including nail and skin procedures

Exercise-based rehabilitation and functional retraining using the facility for sessions

Caseload Includes:

Sports injuries (acute and overuse)

Workers' Compensation & CTP cases

EPC/Medicare and Private patients

Post-operative foot and ankle rehab

Gait assessments and orthotic management

General foot care, nail surgeries

NDIS clients and aged care

Functional load testing via VALD technology

What We Offer

$90-100k base + commission

What We’re Looking For

AHPRA registered Podiatrist (new grads welcome)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Interest in sports, biomechanics, and rehab-based podiatry

Comfortable with general podiatry, nail procedures, and wound care

Ability to prescribe and review custom orthotics

Commitment to professional growth and team collaboration

Current NSW Driver’s Licence + Vehicle

Willing to undertake Police and Working with Children Checks
