This role is primarily workshop-based, but we are seeking someone who is willing and flexible to perform field service work across Western Australia when needed. Additional allowance applicable when doing field service work.
What we offer
Permanent full-time position, offering job security
Work between 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with additional hours during the week and ahoc Saturdays (approx. 38 – 50 hr per week)
Competitive hourly rate between $60 per hour, flat rate, plus superannuation paid on all hours worked
Early finish on Fridays

What you'll need
Strong auto-electrical knowledge, experience, and aptitude.
Certificate III Auto Electrical or equivalent (Light Vehicle/ Marine/Heavy Road Transport/Agricultural).
Ability to read electrical schematics with problem solving and diagnostic skills
Willing and flexible to undertake on Field Service work across Western Australia if required
Experience working in Mining/Construction/Manufacturing/Heavy Machinery
Previous underground experience is highly desirable
Current Forklift license (desirable)
Be willing and flexible to perform field service work across Western Australia when needed.
Full working rights in Australia.
The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical/electronic system modifications and manufacturing tasks on Normet underground machines
Conduct fault finding, repairing, replacing, and providing technical advice
Inspect, audit, service, repair, and overhaul Normet equipment to OEM specifications in workshop or remote mine sites
Electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles and plant equipment.
