Join the dream team! Wyvern Private Hospital is looking for dedicated Enrolled Nurses in their Day Surgery Unit, working in both Admissions and Stage 2 Recovery.

As a Day Surgery Nurse, you'll provide excellent specialised care to patients both in Admissions and in Stage 2 recovery under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll deliver supportive, friendly care with a smile.

Key accountabilities:

• Experience in a day surgery setting

• A genuine passion to provide excellent care for both patients and their loved ones

• Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

• Effective care of patients, identifying their needs by analysing data

• Ability to work collaboratively with RNs, AINs, and other clinical staff

• Medication administration where qualified

• Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

• Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times

• The ability to stay calm under pressure

• A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills. You're happy to seek guidance when you need it.

• A genuine understanding of Wyvern Private Hospital's "Care Without Compromise" philosophy

Other Requirements:

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Division 1 (AHPRA)

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience

• Valid Working with Children Check

• National Police Check

• 100-point ID check

• Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)

• Proof of vaccinations
