Make Badges creates high quality, Australian-made promotional badges and name badges. Our customers range from schools, businesses, health, events, international brands and government. We are a growth-focused small business and are currently seeking to hire a badge production operator to join our friendly and hard-working team.

We seek a motivated, friendly, casual staff member to join our small badge making team. 2-5 days per week (weekdays only, standard business hours).

Immediate start in Thomastown, Victoria (Dalton Road). Newly constructed warehouse / office with free onsite parking. The business will relocate to a new location in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne in late 2025 (TBC).

The successful candidate will be capable of producing a minimum of 15 badges per minute operating the electric badge making machines (training provided).

Duties will include:

Operation of electric badge pressing machine

Finishing work (applying pin, magnets, packing)

Operation of UV Printing Machine

Application of Expoxy Resin to Name Badges

Operation of Laser Cutter and Engraver

Light cleaning

Other support duties as directed

This role requires light to medium physical effort with an extreme level of manual dexterity. Occasional medium lifting is necessary (up to 20kgs). Applicants must be capable of standing and or sitting for extended periods of time.

Must be able to meet deadlines and daily production quotas. A high level of concentration and attention to detail are vital for this role. The successful candidate will be one that strives to optimise their workflow and places a strong focus on efficiency and productivity.

The successful applicant will be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a positive attitude, able to meet the challenge of a tight deadline as they arise.

No experience required, all training will be provided. The successful candidate will have these attributes:
