We are seeking a motivated and reliable Second-Year Apprentice Plumber to join our commercial maintenance team. In this role, you will support licensed plumbers with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a range of commercial sites including warehouses and office buildings.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of commercial plumbing maintenance while working towards becoming a qualified plumber.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnosing and repairing faults in plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment

Carry out preventative maintenance tasks under supervision

Support with installation of taps, toilets, hot water systems, and other plumbing fixtures

Clear blocked drains, replace washers, and conduct minor pipe repairs

Learn to read and interpret plans, schematics, and work orders

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards

Complete job sheets, timesheets, and logbooks accurately and on time

Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors

Safely use tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

Currently enrolled as a 2nd Year Plumbing Apprentice with a registered training organisation

Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Basic understanding of plumbing systems and safety procedures

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

Excellent communication and time management skills

Current driver’s licence (or working towards it) preferred

Police check and/or Working with Children Check may be required depending on site access
