This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity and strategic decision-making of a high-impact public sector organisation.

About the Role As a Finance Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting financial management, reporting, and analysis across the organisation. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting, insightful reporting, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Support budget operations and internal funding allocations using Oracle and AXIOM.
• Collaborate with audit teams and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide financial insights and decision support tools to business units.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with stakeholders to address financial performance queries.
• Assist with planning, performance development, and resource management.

About You You are a finance professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for public sector impact. You thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting (essential).
• CA or CPA accreditation (desirable).
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of public sector financial management.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Oracle, AXIOM).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
