The role of the Business Analyst will include:
- Review Automation recommendations provided by a third party
- Build out an investment pack identifying the potential benefits and quantify the cost and savings that would be achieved through the investment.
- Conduct thorough research: Gather information from various sources, including market research, industry reports, internal data, and stakeholder interviews, to understand the business context and identify potential opportunities.
- Build financial models: Develop detailed financial models to evaluate the costs, benefits, and return on investment (ROI) of different options, using appropriate methodologies and assumptions.
- Develop business cases: Structure and write comprehensive business cases that clearly articulate the problem statement, proposed solution, expected benefits, costs, risks, and mitigation strategies.
To be successful in these roles, you will need the following:
- Business Case Development (MANDATORY) – Extensive, recent experience writing business cases with financial modelling end-to-end for multi-million dollar programs (at least two completed cases, by themselves).
- Financial Modelling & Investment Analysis – Strong expertise in ROI, IRR, Cost-Benefit Analysis to quantify costs, benefits, and savings for investment cases.
- Market Research & Data-Driven Decision Making – Ability to conduct market analysis, industry benchmarking, and feasibility assessments.
- Documentation & Presentation – Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, BRDs, RTM, and investment packs to create persuasive business cases.
- Strategic Thinking & Decision Support – Experience guiding executives through the decision-making process, refining proposals based on insights.
- Process Automation & Business Improvement – Understanding of automation strategies and their financial impact on operational efficiencies.
