Welcome to St John of God Health Care
St John of God Health Care is one of the largest private providers of health care services in Australia, employing more than 16,000 employees (caregivers). We operate 26 hospitals and services comprising more than 3,300 hospital beds, including home nursing, disability services and social outreach programs.
St John of God Healthcare at Home (HAH) provides a specialised Chemotherapy and Infusions at Home service dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care. This service offers a range of therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, non-cancer intravenous treatments, and iron therapy. With more than 16 years of experience in hospital substitution, post-acute care, and personal care services, Healthcare at Home began offering chemotherapy administration, oncology maintenance, and medical infusions in January 2021.
The Healthcare at Home Chemotherapy and Infusions team coordinate the service, working closely with the referring hospital, medical specialists, and hospital pharmacies to ensure seamless care for patients. Before treatment begins, and throughout its duration, all patients undergo risk assessment to determine their suitability for home-based therapy.
