We are seeking an experienced and reliable team member to join our busy production warehouse team as a Warehouse Store person.

The role is available now, is full-time working on afternoon shift between the hours of 1.00pm-9.06pm (with some weekend overtime).

Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will join our high performing, friendly & hardworking production warehouse team. You are responsible for operating high risk work equipment (forklift, electronic pallet jack), loading & unloading trucks, timely supply of bulk and non-bulk raw materials to production staff and general warehouse & administrative duties to support overall production warehouse operations. Chiller work is included.

The role is approximately 60% forklift operation (counterbalance and high reach) & 40% store person work.

What we need from you

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role or industry
• Hold a current forklift licence with demonstrated experience operating a forklift (high reach) in a warehouse/freezer environment
• Be physically fit, a team player, reliable along with a can-do attitude
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance
• An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and able to always demonstrate safe working practices
• Good verbal and written communication
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience with WMS (warehouse management system) and RF scanning.
• Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as required
