We are looking for a dedicated Early Childcare Cook to provide healthy food to our children. We have up to 70 children a day with a large purpose built kitchen. We are next to the Vineyard railway station in a semi rural area.

It is a permanent part time position of 25 hours a week, Monday - Friday. You will be responsible for preparing all meals, helping to prepare the menu and supporting the educators to provide cooking experiences for children. You will be able to manage your time, have confidence with catering for children with allergies and cultural dietary restrictions and ensuring the kitchen maintains a high level of cleanliness.

To be eligible:

have or be prepared to complete a food safety supervisor certificate

be a team player, professional and organised

have good communication skills

have a current working with children check
