Join our Spring 2025 Traineeship Program, where you’ll gain all the skills you need to teach swimming — no experience required. You’ll be ready to start work (with supervision) by Term 4.

Key Dates – You Must Be Fully Available - no exceptions

Phase 1: Shadow & Casual Shifts
📅 1 – 14 September

2–3 shifts per week

Shifts available after school, during school hours and weekends

Phase 2: Intensive Training Block
📅 22 September – 2 October

Daily in-water training: 9:00am–3:45pm

Hands-on learning, stroke technique, safety and lesson planning

Mandatory Full-Day Course (Paid)
📅 Monday 29 September

Swim Australia Teacher course | 8:30am–5:00pm

Group Interview
📅 Monday 18 August | 5:00–6:00pm

Are 18+ and ready to learn

Can commit to all training dates

Are available for 3+ shifts per week after the program

Can work Monday 4–7pm and either Friday 4–7pm or Saturday 8:15am–1pm

Are enthusiastic, reliable, and great with kids

Can work at our Nunawading, Glen Waverley or Ringwood locations
