About the role

Robertson Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics venue located in Sunnybank Hills, Brisbane. We are seeking an experienced Advanced WAG (Women's Artistic Gymnastics) Coach to join our dedicated coaching team in a part-time role, with the ability to transition to a full time position for the right person. In this role, you will work with gymnasts across a range of levels, including our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Squad athletes.

What you'll be doing

Designing and leading comprehensive training programs for WAG athletes of all levels

Coaching gymnasts during training sessions and competitions to help them improve their technique and performance

Monitoring and evaluating athlete progress, providing feedback and adjusting training plans as needed

Ensuring a safe and supportive training environment that allows athletes to thrive

Collaborating with other coaches, parents and administrators to support the overall success of the gymnastics program

What we're looking for

Experience as an Advanced WAG Coach, with a proven track record of developing athletes.

Strong understanding of and ability to teach drills, skills and routines in a structured way.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with athletes, parents and the wider Robertson team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and find solutions

Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest coaching methodologies

Current coaching accreditation, first aid certification and Working with Children check
