Senior Opportunity in Project Coordination – Albury-Wodonga Region

WAC United is recruiting for the role of Manager-Project Team on behalf of our client in Albury-Wodonga.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Team Manager to lead a dedicated team of project coordinators. This is a pivotal senior role responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of complex manufacturing projects across New South Wales and Victoria.

You’ll play a key role in aligning project execution with client expectations, budget parameters, and operational efficiency.

Position Overview

Our client requires the Manager-Project Team to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects. Acting as a central liaison between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, the role ensures alignment on objectives, timelines, and resource utilisation.

The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with strong communication and organisational capabilities, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-paced, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution

Serve as the main point of contact between clients, project teams, suppliers, and production leads

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, proactively addressing any challenges

Ensure project documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage resource allocation and workloads

Communicate clearly with all stakeholders regarding project expectations, progress, and deliverables

Drive projects to meet defined scope, quality standards, and customer specifications

Contribute to continuous improvement of project management systems and procedures

Key Selection Criteria

Proven experience in project coordination or management within manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities

Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software

Sound judgement, analytical thinking, and attention to detail

Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or a related discipline (desirable)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Trade or engineering qualifications, particularly in boilermaking or related disciplines

Prior senior project management experience

Practical knowledge of steel fabrication processes

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
