About the role

As a trainee, you will work full time in the Department – learning and developing a range of public administration skills that support your business area. Your duties will include a range of computer-based activities and tasks including:

Customer service via phone, email and in person

Data entry, file management, record keeping and word processing

Utilising Departmental systems and Microsoft Office

Other duties as required by the business area

You will also be given academic support and guidance to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Government.
