Position snapshot

Cross Care Group continues to grow across Brisbane’s northern corridor and needs additional compassionate, clinically sharp Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver hospital‑to‑home care for clients living in Bald Hills, Griffin and surrounding suburbs (e.g. North Lakes, Bracken Ridge, Murrumba Downs).

Start dates: Immediate once onboarding checks clear (intakes every fortnight)

Induction: Paid onboarding program with buddy shifts and mentor support

Roster: Structured monthly rosters so you can plan life outside work

What a typical week looks like

Medication management, wound care, catheter & stoma maintenance

High‑intensity supports: tracheostomy, PEG/JEJ feeds, seizure protocols

Behaviour‑support strategies in partnership with OTs & behaviour specialists

Collaborative care planning & case conferences with RNs & allied health

Community participation: hydrotherapy, social outings, rehabilitation sessions

Accurate documentation on mobile platforms; incident reporting

Coaching support workers in safe clinical practice

What you’ll bring

Diploma of Nursing & current AHPRA Enrolled Nurse registration

Current First Aid & CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check & QLD Blue Card

Open driver’s licence & reliable, insured vehicle

Confidence—or desire to learn—in tracheostomy, enteral feeding & complex manual handling (full training provided)

Tech‑savvy approach (shift notes & e‑learning on your phone)

Calm, client‑first mindset aligned with our True Care culture
