Jane’s Place Early Learning Centre Alexandria is a run by a highly experienced and qualified owner/operator management team that are onsite daily. We are a highly respected early childhood education provider who are dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of young children within our care. We focus on creating a warm, inclusive home away from home environment that provides the best possible start in life for the children in our care.

We are seeking a passionate Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our exceptional team at Jane’s Place Early Learning Centre Alexandria, Sydney, NSW.

The successful applicant will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and early education to our children. The position is full time and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children within in our Centre.

Roles and Responsibilities:

To assist your team with the planning and implementing of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development

To assist your team with observing and documenting children's progress.

To establish and maintain nurturing, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

To ensure a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment

To adhere to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures

To participate in team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

We are looking for

An experienced Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification for a Team Leader Role

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Creativity and a passion for providing high-quality early childhood education

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
