About the role

Join our vibrant team at Bakers Delight Castletown as a casual Senior Sales Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our busy bakery in the heart of Townsville, QLD 4810.

What you'll be doing

Greeting customers with a warm and friendly demeanour

Assisting customers with product selection and answering any queries

Efficiently operating the cash register and handling cash and card transactions

Restocking shelves and ensuring the bakery displays are well-maintained and appealing

Providing support to the baking team as needed

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the food and beverage industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A friendly, bubbly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude

Availability to work a flexible schedule
