We require an experienced Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray driver to transport equipment and portable buildings in our DAF Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray to support the rapidly growing logistics requirements of the business.

About the role

This truck driver role will be reporting to the Kings Meadows Branch Manager. The key objective of the role is to provide transportation and logistics services for the branch operations department.

This role will be initially Casual for a period of 6 months but has the potential for the right candidate, to become a fulltime role.

We are looking for a person to deliver dry plant hire equipment within the organisational systems, ISO framework, WHS guidelines, policies and procedures, customer requirements, and within the stipulated regulatory and legislative requirements.

As a direct representative of the organisation when transporting equipment, a high level of customer service, driving abilities, vehicle cleanliness and a neat and tidy appearance will be mandatory requirements at all times.

Willingness to assist in the cleanliness and high pressure washing of equipment in between the transportation of equipment as required.

Skills and experience

5+ Years experience working with tilt trays.

Plant equipment transport experience and familiar with loading and unloading plant requirements.

Self-driven person that is technically minded and takes pride in the quality of their work and how they represent the company to our clients.

Team player who can add value to our services and the customers experience we provide.

Time management

Working knowledge of the Load Restraint Guide 2018

Certification in Load and Unload Plant would be held in high regard

Strong working knowledge of the NHVR fatigue requirements

Strong working experience in transport logistics
