About the role

JK Cartage water carriers, seek experienced pleasant Bulk potable (drinking) water tanker driver, HR or MC license required, to join our Samford Valley team, Brisbane Qld. Flexible casual role driving either Water Tankers and/or Tandem Tippers you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials. This role offers the flexibility of casual work to work the hours you need, seasons permitting, to balance your professional and personal commitments. What you'll be doing

Operate Bulk Potable water Tanker , filling and disbursing to residential rain water tanks throughout Samford, Dayboro, Upper Kedron, Mt Glorious and Moreton Shires who live on tank water, and aren't connected to a council water system.

Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe delivery of loads

Maintain accurate records of work hours, and deliveries.

Communicate pleasantly with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Work History Experience operating 13,500 kl Water Tanker vehicles, Heavy Rigid Tippers or oversize vehicles.

A person who lives local to Samford, and knows the area, or lives in the Northside of Brisbane.

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

A commitment to safe driving and a clean driving record

Basic mechanical knowledge to perform daily inspections and safety pre-checks

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to deal with home owner customers.

Ability to not fail random alcohol and drug tests, including marihuana.
