The Role of an Domestic Care Worker:
As a Domestic Care Worker, you’ll support the daily wellbeing of our residents, working closely with our Personal Care Workers. You’ll bring comfort, connection, and reliability to those who need it most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with safe mobility and mealtime support
- Apply basic personal care, including moisturising and aid assistance
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment (room cleaning/laundry)
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with activities and engagement in their day-to-day interests
- Support the team in memory support units and general household duties
What You Bring:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Warm, compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Enthusiasm to learn and contribute positively to a team
- Understanding of aged care standards (desirable but not essential)
