Senior to Mid Level Java Developer - Permanent role: Melbourne-based

We are currently seeking multiple Senior to Mid Level Software Developers with a focus on Backend to become integral members of our client's dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting time to join!

Important bits:
Location: Melbourne CBD (3 office days per week - Non-negotiable)
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 base + Super (Depending on experience)
Eligibility: Must have Full Working Rights (AU PR/Citizen)

Key Criteria:

• Strong experience working in Java (ideally 17&21 but 8 is fine too) + Springboot and experience with AWS or Azure.
• While ReactJS experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory
• An interest or prior experience working with AI tools (such as Cursor and/or Windsurf)
• Experience working in an AGILE/SCRUM team.
• Expertise across Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and database queries.
• API Gateways
• We are looking for Engineers with a mindset of always wanting to explore and not just take orders but happy to question things, suggest better ways of working, have a voice in the team!
