Core Talent are currently recruiting for a Fire Consultant or Senior Fire Consultant role with a highly regarded building services consultancy based in Brisbane.

This position is focused on Fire Protection Services and would suit someone with experience in designing and coordinating fire systems, conducting technical QA reviews, and working with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and relevant industry regulations.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Developing and coordinating fire protection system designs across multidisciplinary projects
• Assisting in technical reviews, reporting, and documentation for registered engineer sign-off
• Conducting site inspections, reviewing shop drawings, commissioning tests, and defect assessments
• Preparing cost estimates, tender documentation, and client reports
• Supporting continuous improvement of internal systems, design libraries, and specification documents
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Contributing to the broader business development strategy and engaging in industry networking

Sectors covered: Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Defence, Residential, Transport, Aviation and Industrial projects on a national level.

About you:

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, good time and project management, and a willingness to grow their capabilities across both technical and commercial areas.
• Hold a diploma or degree in a relevant field (Fire, Mechanical or Building services) OR have strong work-based experience with a strong technical understanding.
• 2-5 years within consultancy or contracting in Australia.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD or other relevant software's.
• Strong understanding of Australian standard, NCC or local building regulations
