Position Overview

Working on the companies range of mobile plant and earthmoving equipment.

Fault diagnosis utilizing onboard diagnostic systems and working with electrical and hydraulic-systems.

Servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel-powered heavy-duty mining equipment.

Changing-out parts and components.

Working with diesel engines, transmissions, final drives, undercarriage, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Working with specialized construction/earthmoving equipment.

Candidate Requirements

Cert III Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic/Fitter or similar.

Sound knowledge and experience working on mobile plant or similar diesel-powered equipment. Mining equipment experience highly regarded.

An honest worker with good work ethic.

Mechanically minded, a passion for machinery with interest in learning new equipment, systems and technical skills.

Drivers license, HR highly regarded.

Someone who works well in a small team and also autonomously.

You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

On offer is an excellent employment opportunity to step into a quality, full-time permanent FIFO Plant Mechanic position with a company that'll develop you and look after you in the long-term. Also on offer's a starting rate of $65-$80 per hour plus, over-time, super, training. If relocation is required, a relocation assistance of $3-5k is available. Rosters of 2:1 or 2:2.
