Due to some fantastic business growth, we have a vacancy for two experienced Metal Roofers to join this established business with over 50 years industry experience. Working in the commercial, government, school and high end residential space, the business provides roofing, flashing, cladding and fascia services.

Management

This is a second generation business. You would work under the strategic direction of the Director who is based in the Canberra Office. He is down to earth and fosters a family culture.

Company Culture

The company culture is based on team work with the various divisions of the business working in unison to meet business objectives. The Director is hands on in the business in a strategic and business development role. Staff retention is important to the owner and he has many long term employees.

Career Advancement and Promotions

Business is busy and whilst the owner has no plans to double his workforce, he does provide ongoing training.

Work Load

The general work is completed between 6:30am and 2:30pm in Summer and 7:30 to 3:30 in Winter. You would work in teams where safety is paramount.

Salary and Financial Stability

This is a long established business and very well known in Canberra. They have been responsible for many of Canberra's iconic buildings so job security is a given. A 38 hour week.

Your experience

You would be a qualified and experienced metal roofer with exposure to Commercial works. You would have a solid attention to detail and be quality focused. many of the projects you will work on are Canberra Iconic buildings so you will want to be proud of your work. You will need a White card, Asbestos Awareness card, EWP ticket and WWVP card.
