Diplomatik are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Hand to join one of our clients Parks and Gardens team in the centre of Perth. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and beautifying our outdoor spaces.

The role involves a variety of tasks including pruning, weeding, trimming, edging, and general labouring duties.

The role is on a casual, ongoing basis working from Monday to Friday from 6:30 am - +/- 2:30 pm and you will every other Monday off (9 day fortnight).

Responsibilities

• Pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to ensure they are healthy and well-maintained.
• Weeding flower beds, lawns, and other landscaped areas to promote the growth of desired plants.
• Trimming hedges and bushes to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
• Edging lawns and pathways for a clean and defined finish.
• Assisting with general labouring tasks such as mulching, planting, and watering.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• A passion for the outdoors and a love for gardening.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work methodically.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
