CQUniversity’s School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences is seeking an experienced academic to support the growth and development of our distinctive Safety Sciences courses.
In this senior role, you will play a key part in delivering and developing curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You’ll bring a broad knowledge of safety sciences and a commitment to applied, industry-aligned education. Experience in curriculum design, flexible delivery and the supervision of research students is essential.
You’ll contribute to CQUniversity’s distinctive Safety Sciences programs, which include highly regarded offerings in Occupational Health and Safety and Fatigue Rick Management, delivered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We’re looking for someone who brings innovative teaching approaches and is confident using digital tools and technologies to enhance student learning. In addition to delivering high-quality teaching, you will contribute to research that makes a meaningful impact in the field of safety sciences.

Position Requirements
Doctoral qualification or equivalent in Safety Sciences or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated senior-level industry experience in Safety Sciences.
Proven ability to teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including curriculum design and multi-modal delivery.
A track record of applied research in Safety Science and the integration of research outcomes into teaching practice.
