We’re recruiting for a skilled Electrician to join a major food manufacturing site in Capalaba. This is a hands-on role supporting the reliability and performance of production equipment across a rotating roster – two weeks of day shift, followed by two weeks of night shift.

Key responsibilities:

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across a wide range of machinery
  
  
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  
  
• Accurate reporting and documentation using MEX (CMMS)
  
  
• Maintain strong communication between shifts for effective handover
  
  
• Ensure all work complies with safety, GMP and quality standards
  
  
• Assist with contractor coordination and project support when needed
  
  

What you’ll need:

• Electrical trade qualification and current QLD electrical licence
  
  
• 5+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance (food/FMCG ideal)
  
  
• Confident in fault finding, root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  
  
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  
  
• Experience using a CMMS like MEX
  
  
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across teams
  
  

Nice to have:

• First Aid certificate
  
  
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and reliability systems
