Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) are eager to recruit two Social Workers to join our dedicated team at our brand-new Modbury Mental Health Rehab Unit, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community.

About the Role:

The Modbury Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit offers contemporary, evidence based, and high-quality rehabilitation services. The multidisciplinary team play a key role in delivering person centred, trauma informed care within a collaborative environment. The MMHRU delivers rehabilitation services that are compassionate, solution focused, promoting skill development, social inclusion, and supporting consumers to achieve their recovery goals. Staff work in close connection with both Wondakka (Community Rehabilitation Centre) and The Gully services, supporting mental health rehabilitation service innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and co-design.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

AHP 1 - As a developing practitioner, you'll work under direct clinical supervision, implement established care plans, and deliver evidence-based social work interventions. You'll participate in therapeutic groups, assist with discharge planning and community linkages, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings while building your clinical expertise in mental health rehabilitation and recovery-oriented practice. AHP2 - In this autonomous role, you'll conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develop individualised treatment plans, and lead complex case management interventions. You'll facilitate therapeutic groups independently, provide clinical supervision to junior staff, contribute to service development initiatives, and collaborate extensively with psychiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, and allied health professionals in discharge planning and family education programs. To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
