About Us

McDiarmid Plumbing Service is a family owned, growing plumbing company with over 30 years in the industry. Known for our commitment to exceptional service and quality workmanship, we prioritize delivering beyond expectations, ensuring reliability, and maintaining high standards throughout every job. As a growing business, we are currently seeking 1 - 2 full time employees to join our growing team. We are primarily engaged in commercial plumbing works however we do also perform some general maintenance plumbing for residential customers.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 2 years experience (outside of apprenticeship)

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues

Ability to work efficiently and safely, both independently and as part of a team

Ability to guide and work with apprentices

Thorough understanding of plumbing standards

Driver's license

Valid QLD Plumbing License & Construction White Card

Experience in the following will be highly regarded:

Experience in commercial plumbing

Experience in leading projects and ability to interpret hydraulic drawings

EWP, Confined Space & Backflow Tickets

Please Note: Travel Required- Although we are based in Nerang, 80% of our work is commercial and based in Brisbane and surrounding areas. Please only apply if this is something you are happy to do. A company vehicle is provided.
