Due to substantial growth across our company, we are seeking experienced and dedicated Vehicle Accessory Fitters to join our team. About the Role: As a Vehicle Accessory Fitter at Chivalry UTE, you will be primarily responsible for the high-quality fitment and installation of our premium products onto customer vehicles. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of the latest makes and models, contributing to our reputation for innovation and product excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Removing & Replacing Vehicle parts, preparation, and fitment of accessories (often on brand new vehicles). * Installation of service bodies, trays, and toolboxes along with internal modular items, racks, and fridge slides. * Wiring 12 volt accessories, such as mine-spec lighting, driving lights, and UHF radios, etc. * Assembly and installation of Canopies, Trays, and other accessories. * Performing services and repairs of Chivalry UTE products. * Ensuring products are cleaned post-installation and logging job reports. * Maintaining a clean and safe workplace. * Carrying out inspections and quality control throughout the production process. * Working collaboratively in a team environment to meet safety, time, quality, and production targets. * Effectively managing occasional overflow customer enquiries to support the branch. Skills and Experience Required: * Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (AUR32120 or previous equivalent codes like AUR32116, AUR32112, AUR30605), or equivalent qualification is highly appreciated for this or a supervisor role, depending on experience. * Proven experience in vehicle accessory fitting and/or automotive electrical installations is essential. * Experience working with 12V electrics is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. * Ability to work in a team environment with a professional and positive attitude that aligns with our company culture. * A love of cars and a mechanical aptitude. * Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and be time efficient.
