About the role...

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cert 3 / Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Rosie's Early Learning Centre. This is a full-time role, and you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care and education to the children in our centre.

What you'll be doing

Running/coordinating an engaging and age-appropriate educational program to our before and after school care children and then covering programming and lunches during the day. If you're an experienced educator the lunch covers will be used to model and upskill the team.

Providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports the overall development of each child

Collaborating with parents and families to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's learning and care

Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including observations, assessments, and daily reports

Participating in ongoing professional development to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

Assisting with the general operations of the centre, such as setting up activities, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy environment.

This opportunity can also be tailer made to suit experienced educators who want to share their knowledge with others, whilst continuing or building on their leadership skills.

What we're looking for

Minimum Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within the childcare sector

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the overall development and wellbeing of children

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively within a team

A current First Aid certificate, including CPR, and a valid Working with Children Check
