As a Home and Community Care worker, you will build quality relationships with elderly individuals.

We are seeking expressions of interest for HACC in Bairnsdale! We’re looking for PCAs with prior homecare experience interested in providing care to clients in their homes/community. You will need to be willing to assist with day-to-day assistant needs for each individual client.

Services will include meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, transport to appointments, ADLs and respite care. Shifts will be anywhere from 1 - 5 hours, early morning and late evening.

ABOUT YOU

You need to have a passion for your work as a carer and want to assist people to live as independently as possible in their home. Connecting with each client with good communication skills, compassionate and an empathic nature.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Certificate III Individual Support - Aged Care

HACC qualification (desirable, but not essential)

Current National Police Check

At least 3 months experience in a community care setting

Current NDIS Card

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Current Flu Vaccination Certificate

Current Covid vaccination and state government booster requirements

Driver’s licence, reliable car, and mobile phone

To be qualified for HACC transport shifts, you will need your full driver’s licence with a fully registered, insured and roadworthy car.
