We're seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker to join our Mill Maintenance team to ensure our production equipment runs smoothly at our Feed Mill, located onsite in Beerwah. This role offers a diverse range of maintenance and repair tasks, giving you a unique opportunity to broaden your expertise and contribute to a dynamic team.

About the Role:

As a Boilermaker/Mill Maintenance Technician, you will:

Conduct breakdown repairs, preventative and scheduled maintenance duties

Fault Find and troubleshoot throughout the Mill

Participate in improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages

Perform general welding/maintenance duties

In consultation with Mill Maintenance Manager and staff, identify equipment and areas requiring attention for efficient mill operation.

On-call on a roster basis

Skills and Experience:

Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker

Experience in Mill maintenance (highly desirable)

Forklift ticket required (or willing to obtain)

Working at heights ticket advantageous

Confined space ticket required (or willing to obtain)

Attention to detail with a high level of problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong work ethic

Reliable transport and driver's licence

Time management skills

Local to the area (highly desirable)
