As part of ongoing growth, they’re looking for a motivated Accountant to join their high-performing finance team, based in Brisbane.

The Role

Reporting into a Commercial Manager, this role will see you working across a broad range of financial functions, with a strong focus on accuracy, insight, and support to the wider team. You’ll contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis - playing a key part in supporting business decision-making and process improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, P&L statements, and cash flow reporting
• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for property stakeholders
• Preparing and reviewing service fee and recovery invoices, monitoring balances, and ensuring timely collection
• Supporting annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with senior leaders
• Managing GST reconciliations and intercompany transactions
• Reviewing and processing corporate credit cards, ensuring correct GST treatment and coding
• Supporting external audits with timely and accurate information
• Partnering with internal stakeholders on performance reporting and insights
• Contributing to ongoing improvements in systems, processes, and controls
• Responding to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from leadership

Skills and Experience

• Degree qualified in Accounting; CA/CPA qualified or working towards
• Strong attention to detail and confident working with large sets of financial data
• Previous experience with budgeting, reporting, or property/accounting functions ideal
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating finance systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to engage across teams
