The Centre

An 80-place service in Central West NSW is looking for a dedicated and experienced Centre Director to lead a team of early childhood professionals. You will be working collaboratively to provide a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.
If you are a results driven person and have a leadership experience within early childhood, this role will be perfect for you as you will be managing all operational and business activities within the centre to deliver on centre goals and KPI's.

The Role
As a Centre Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Quality Care, Development and Education of Children
- Team & Culture Leadership
- Child & Team Safety
- Family Support
- Business Performance
In conjunction with the above, you will also be doing office administration duties including maintaining centre records and will be responsible to ensure the most current policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
This role is off the floor but you may be needed to work on the floor from time to time. On top of this, you will also be participating in meetings, conferences and training courses as a part of your day to day routine. As you will be the face of the centre, you will be expected to represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- A Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education, or working towards the qualification (ACECQA-approved)
- Minimum 2-3 years of management or leadership experience within sector
- A current Working with Children's Check
- A recent Child Protection Training/Safeguarding
- Current first-aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- Passionate belief in the early years care, development and education of children
- Strong ethics and genuine approach towards child safety and WHS
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated P&L accountability
- Adaptability, flexibility and resilience and is able to respond positively to change
- Australian unrestricted working rights
