Are you passionate about renewable energy and ready to lead meaningful change? The Gordon is looking for a visionary Project Lead – Renewable Energy to champion innovation, shape future training and help drive Australia’s clean energy transition.
This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to lead nation-shaping work in hydrogen, solar, wind, battery storage, and grid integration. You’ll lead the design, delivery and expansion of industry-aligned training programs in supporting a net-zero future and position The Gordon as a regional leader in clean energy and advanced manufacturing.
Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead innovative and forward-thinking clean energy training initiatives.
- Co-design cutting-edge training programs with industry, education, and government stakeholders.
- Drive projects aligned with the Renewable Clean Energy Industry Training Hub (RCEITH).
- Lead curriculum design in emerging technologies like hydrogen, solar, wind, and battery storage.
- Pursue funding and grants to fuel innovation, infrastructure, and partnerships.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards while ensuring programs remain agile, industry-relevant and learner centric.
- Champion safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environments.
- Be a visible and collaborative force connecting The Gordon with government and industry to deliver accessible, future-focused learning pathways.

About You:
You’re a dynamic leader who thrives in innovation-driven environments, passionate about developing the future workforce and making a lasting impact in the renewable sector. You have experience in owning, shaping and delivering on project outcomes. Additionally, you will have
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire high-performing, collaborative teams.
- Experience designing and delivering innovative, future-focused training aligned with workforce and industry needs.
- Deep understanding of Australia’s clean energy landscape (wind, solar, hydrogen and storage) – from technology to policy.
- The ability to spot and secure funding opportunities to scale impact.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with industry, government, and community stakeholders.
- Experience in developing or contributing resources to renewable training programs
- A talent for translating strategic goals into real-world training outcomes.

Salary Range:
PACCT 8 - $109,738.00 - $115,581.00 + Superannuation
