About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at David Brothers Grocers as a Store Manager. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new grocery store located in Brunswick East, VIC. This is a full-time role that will see you managing a team of dedicated staff and ensuring the efficient and effective running of all grocery operations.

What you'll be doing

Managing the grocery department and leading a team of in-store staff

Overseeing inventory management, stock ordering, and stock control processes

Ensuring store merchandising and presentation standards are maintained

Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to drive growth

Fostering a positive, customer-centric culture within the store

Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures

Identifying and addressing operational issues to improve efficiency

Assisting with the recruitment, training, development and rostering of in-store personnel

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably in the grocery/supermarket industry

Strong leadership, people management and team-building skills

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Demonstrated track record of driving sales and profitability

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
