PART-TIME STYLIST POSITION

We have been servicing retailers, interior design, furniture & homeware industries for over 25 years. We deal in original, handcrafted and authentic furniture & decor, with an unmatched collection of pieces from Africa, China, India, Indonesia & Türkiye.

Orient House is seeking a talented visual merchandiser / stylist to join our dynamic team in Glebe, NSW. As a part-time role, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stylist to showcase their creativity in enhancing the visual appeal and customer experience within our 1200 square meter store.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 3 days per week. Flexibility to assist with hours when required is an advantage.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Visual merchandising and styling. Style and dress window displays, and create product vignettes to drive customer engagement and maximise sales.

Creating an environment that tells a strong story, makes the customers feel welcome and increases sales.

Assisting with unpacking containers, stock taking and pricing new shipments.

Help packing order.

Lift heavy pieces on your own. +15Kg's

Hang pictures, be comfortable climbing ladders.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a visual merchandising or styling role, preferably within the homewares or lifestyle sectors. We encourage you to apply if you think you're the right fit for us.

Creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and continuously improve the in-store customer journey.

A person who has an awesome attitude to do what it takes to make great things happen.

PC skills an advantage.
