THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Clinical, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all clinical and wellbeing services. You’ll grow, mentor and guide a team of Wellbeing Clinicians to ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and innovation.

As the Clinical Lead, you will:

Grow, supervise and mentor a team of Wellbeing Clinicians

Oversee onboarding, training, and performance management

Ensure compliance with DVA guidelines and legislative standards

Deliver evidence-based care to a small caseload of veteran clients

Drive clinical excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement

Collaborate with the Head of Clinical on strategy and service delivery

Represent AVHS in stakeholder and community engagement

What You’ll Bring:

Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA

Proven leadership and management experience

Expertise in evidence-based mental health care

A passion for supporting veterans and their families

Desirable:

Strong understanding of DVA guidelines and DSM-5

Experience in veteran or military mental health

Knowledge of military culture and transition challenges
