Our client; is a leader in the Powder Coating industry , with their operations based in Chipping Norton. Due to growth they now have a vacancy for an experienced Yard Person / Storesperson with Forklift Licence ( LF)

This role is ongoing working Monday to Friday starting between 7am & 8am and working through to 4pm.

Temp to Permanent Opportunity for the right person

Looking for people who have experience working within a manufacturing or yard operating a forklift.

Moving objects of various shapes and sizes, not your standard pallets. Including window frames, chairs, plaster boards, steel and timber beams up to 6 meters long.

About the role:

• Moving stock within the factory and the warehouse
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Managing the store room
• Picking the correct powder coating colours and delivering to the various stations to be applied
• Checking orders for accuracy
• General warehousing duties
• Lifting powder coating bags which weigh up to 25kgs.
• General computer knowledge

To be suitable you must:

• Be available on an ongoing basis - this is a long-term position
• Must have a forklift (LF) licence and experience operating a counterbalance forklift
• Experience working within a yard or manufacturing
• Experience with various shaped loads on the forklift
• Excellent reading and writing skills with a high attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions
• Have full working rights in Australia
