About the Role

An established and reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Senior CA to oversee and manage the contractual aspects of their projects in Sydney. This pivotal role involves ensuring that all contracts are executed in accordance with legal requirements, company policies, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and review contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks and disputes
• Collaborate with contract managers, commercial managers, project managers and other stakeholders to align contract terms with project objectives
• Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual documents and communications
• Provide guidance and support on contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in Construction Management, Law, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in contract management within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and legal requirements
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
