AFL Cairns Events Crew wanted at Cazalys Stadium!

International Cricket is returning to Cazalys Stadium and we are putting the call out for Event Staff to help AFL Cairns put on another fantastic show for North Queensland for the upcoming matches:

Saturday, August 16 – Men’s T20I vs South Africa

• Gates open: 6:00 PM
• Match starts: 7:15 PM
• Match ends: 10:25 PM

Tuesday, August 19 – Men’s ODI vs South Africa

• Gates open: 1:30 PM
• Match starts: 1:45 PM
• Match ends: 10:00 PM

We're looking for reliable team members for the following roles:

• Bar Attendants (Queensland RSA certificate required)
• EFTPOS Operators (experience with EFTPOS and order calculations essential)
• Gate Attendants (familiarity with ticket scanning)
• Set Up & Pack Down Crew (manual tasks including lifting over 30kg)

Casual Rates and applicable penalties apply - Registered and Licensed Clubs Award - Level 2:

• Saturday: $38.78/hour
• Tuesday: $32.31/hour

• Ability to follow instructions and perform job under a variety of lead supervisors.
• Ability to greet the public and provide good customer relations with patrons.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain a safe environment to yourself, fellow workers, contactors and patrons.
• Must represent the AFL Cairns Ltd and Cazalys Stadium in a positive manner and be able to respond to customer requests or questions.
• Beverage service must hold a current RSA certificate.
• Must be prepared to work outside during inclement weather conditions if assigned to certain positions.
