About the Role
At Neerim Health we value Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Located within the Baw Baw Shire, and 15 minutes from Warragul, we provide day procedure services for both private and public patients.
Are you a Registered Nurse who is after a greater work-life balance, with a peaceful view? The Perioperative Suite at Neerim Health is open Monday to Friday with lists running between 0800 and 1700. Our suite consists of one theatre, two bed recovery and nine bed active day surgery. We specialise in Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, and Dental Surgery.
We are seeking experienced RNs to join our professional team, working closely with colleagues to deliver high quality comprehensive and individualised patient care.
About You
You are a Registered Nurse (Grade 2) and hold current AHPRA registration in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
You have experience in Perioperative roles including but not limited to Anaesthetics & Post Anaesthetic Recovery.
Your interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are exemplary.
You hold a current Driver's Licence.
You have experience working autonomously as well as part of a team to meet the requirements of consumers and stakeholders.

Key Selection Criteria
Key Competencies:
Graduate Certificate / Graduate Diploma of Perianaesthesia Nursing (or equivalent)
Demonstrated skills and experience in the Perioperative environment including anaesthetic and post anaesthetic unit roles.
Excellent problem solving, and time management skills
Commitment to continuous quality improvement
Knowledge of NSQHS standards and accreditation involvement
ALS Level 1 or Level 2 is highly desirable.

Well-developed communication, interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
