Mahcon Civil is looking for experienced Vac Truck Operators and HR Drivers with a strong civil or utilities background. If you’ve worked around live services and non-destructive digging pit & pipe installations, civil & electrical utilities or infrastructure projects, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term, stable work with a company that values its people.

These are not an entry-level role, we're looking for people who know their way around a truck, site, trenches and services.

What We Need From You

Vac Truck Operator Applicants:

Proven experience operating vac trucks in civil or utilities project

Valid HR licence, White Card and own reliable transport

Strong understanding of safe digging around live assets and ability to adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Ability to complete required reporting/records, manage spoil and maintain the unit

Strong safety-first mindset, excellent communication skills, reliable and punctual

Confident in basic mechanical diagnosing/troubleshooting and ability to resolve minor issues/faults

A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on completing work efficiently, professionally, and to a high standard

Confined Safe or Working Safely at Heights ticket? Big plus

Able to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening when required.

HR Driver / Labourer Applicants:

Proven experience in electrical/communications pit & pipe installation, utilities or infrastructure projects.

Valid HR licence, White Card and own reliable transport

Comfortable working between the truck and on-the-ground labouring tasks

Physically fit, reliable, and ready to be hands-on

Excavator or other plant tickets? Big plus

Able to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening when required.
