DNA Nursing are currently working with an aboriginal healthcare provider in the area who require a full-time registered practice nurse to join their established team.

The role:

• Coordinating chronic disease management plans, including follow-ups and health assessments
• Assisting with clinical procedures such as immunisations, wound care, and pathology collection
• Engaging with patients to deliver preventative health education and promote healthy lifestyle choices
• Conducting triage and emergency response within a supportive clinic environment
• Supporting visiting GPs, allied health, and Aboriginal Health Workers with integrated care
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring documentation aligns with best practice
• Encouraging culturally safe care, collaborating with the community to foster trust and participation

Job requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• At least 2 years’ clinical nursing experience in primary healthcare
• Valid Working with Children Clearance
• National Police Check
