The Role – Junior/Mid Level API Developer (Cloud API & Microservices)

As a .NET Developer, you’ll be a key player in designing, building and optimizing a cloud-based API platform that powers our industry-leading risk management solution. You’ll work with modern cloud technologies, contribute to architecture decisions, and help ensure our platform is scalable, secure, and high-performing.

What You’ll Do

✅ Design, develop, and optimize cloud-based APIs and microservices.
✅ Research and evaluate new technologies to recommend best-fit solutions.
✅ Build resilient, scalable, and high-performance applications using C#, .NET 7+, and TypeScript.
✅ Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following Agile and DevOps best practices.
✅ Develop and automate testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing).
✅ Implement identity services and security strategies to protect API resources.
✅ Optimize API design for front-end and mobile applications.

About You

We’re looking for a highly skilled developer with a passion for technology and a mindset for continuous learning.

Your Core Skills & Experience:

API & Microservices – Proven experience building RESTful APIs and microservices, ideally with Azure or AWS serverless.

Backend Development – Strong expertise in C#, .NET 7+, T-SQL, and JavaScript tools.

Cloud & Databases – Solid SQL skills, data modeling, and experience in multi-tenant environments.

Security & Identity Management – Understanding of identity services and strategies to secure APIs.

Agile & DevOps – Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, Git, and GitHub for source control.

Code Quality – Strong grasp of software design patterns, code reviews, and test-driven development (TDD).

Bonus Points For:

Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Apache Spark, Hadoop , Redis, Cassandra).

Experience with Azure Cloud Services, API Gateway, WebApps, Blob Storage and Event Hub.

Middleware and integration platform knowledge.

Automated testing and CI/CD experience.

An active GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, or Stack Overflow profile (we love to see your work!).
