Are you ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment where every second counts? We're looking for a highly motivated Despatch Officer to join our dynamic team in a Fulltime Permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage daily despatch operations

Communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders

Use computer systems including Outlook to manage emails for our transport and loading divisions, and all incoming/outgoing deliveries

Minimum 10 years’ experience and knowledge of structural steel

Identify and tag steel members from load lists ready for despatch

Think on your feet and solve problems under pressure

Forklift licence would be ideal, but not essential

Must have a car and current drivers’ licence as there is no public transport to our premises

What We’re Looking For:

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook essential)

Excellent communication and time management skills

Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure

A proactive, adaptable approach to changing priorities
