About the role

As a Diesel Mechanic at LBK Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the company's fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and our retail workshop. Joining our team in Hillcrest, QLD, you will be responsible for ensuring our trucks and machinery are in top working condition, enabling us & our customers to provide reliable services to all.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, and other vehicle components

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently

Completing repair tasks such as parts replacement, rebuilding, and adjustments to keep our fleet & customers fleets operating at optimum levels

Maintaining detailed records of all service and repair work carried out

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related trade

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the transport and logistics industry

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues

Excellent working knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, and other heavy vehicle components

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of work

Keen eye for detail to ensure work is carried out to the highest quality

Knowledge of NHVR a advantage

Knowledge of welding an advantage
