We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to join our busy, family practice on a casual basis.

The day to day responsibilities involves childhood/adult vaccinations, chronic disease management, health assessment, wound management, ECG, cold chain management, patient recalls, medical stock management, sterilisation, triage and maintain practice accreditation standards including infection control.

Essential requirements

Unconditional registration with AHPRA

2 years + nursing experience

Current CPR Certificate

Knowledge of current immunisation schedules

Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice nursing

Outstanding work ethic, organisational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong adherence to patient confidentiality protocols

The ability to work independently.

Currently we are looking to fill a Nursing position of 4-6 sessions per week. Ideally the applicant would also have the ability to cover for staff leave where possible.
